LOOK: Mizzou fans, media members rip Derek Dooley’s final play call in Liberty Bowl loss to Oklahoma State

Drew Lock is surprisingly athletic, but when you put the ball in his hands, giving the Mizzou quarterback an option to throw the ball is always a good idea.

However, needing only one yard against Oklahoma State on Monday in the Liberty Bowl with the game on the line, OC Derek Dooley called a play that had Lock roll to his right without a pass option.

You can see the awful play, which took far too long to develop, in the video below:

Naturally, it came up short, costing the Tigers a chance to complete a comeback victory, and fans were not happy. Rightfully so, they took to Twitter to blast Dooley for the questionable (at best) decision to put the ball in Lock’s hands without a chance to throw:
