LOOK: Nick & Terry Saban dedicate home thru Nick’s Kids Foundation benefiting family in need
The number 17 is special in Alabama — that’s the number of national titles the school’s football program claims but it’s also the number of homes the Sabans have helped build thru Nick’s Kids Foundation and Habitat for Humanity.
The foundation initially set out to build 13 homes to equal the number of titles the Crimson Tide have won, but as the football program continues to thrive on the field, the foundation has to keep up with the pace of that success.
Nick and Terry Saban dedicated the latest home in Alberta, Alabama on Thursday. If you are unfamiliar with the foundation’s it’s mission statement is as follows:
To work together in the spirit of faith and giving in our community. To promote and support children, family, teacher, and student causes. It’s all about the kids!
