A recent accident has left Texas DE Breckyn Hager with severe cuts in his hand.
Details of the accident were not revealed, but UT officials confirmed Hager cut his hand. According to Brian Davis of the Austin American-Statesman, Hager briefly posted a photo of his injured hand on Instagram before opting to delete it. The photo can be seen below in a tweet by Davis.
Hager is reportedly expected to be able to play Jan. 1 in the Sugar Bowl when Texas takes on No. 5 Georgia. Hager is third on the team in tackles for loss (7.5) and fifth in sacks (2.5).
