The Citadel played a close game with Alabama during the first half on Saturday, and the Bulldogs trolled some other SEC schools in the process.

In the first half, The Citadel scored 10 points as the Bulldogs were tied with the Crimson Tide at halftime. Although The Citadel went on to lose, 50-17, it wasn’t a bad showing from a lesser non-conference opponent against the No. 1 team in the country.

First, The Citadel’s Twitter account trolled LSU and Mississippi State after scoring their first touchdown of the game in the second quarter. LSU and Mississippi State were both shut out by Alabama earlier this season.

Then, The Citadel boosted its total to 10 points with a field goal before halftime. It followed with a tweet trolling Ole Miss, which scored only seven points in its matchup with Alabama.

The Citadel may not have won, but it can at least have these bragging rights over some other SEC schools.

It was a busy day for The Citadel’s Twitter account as it also trolled Alabama during the first half.
