LOOK: Troy WR apologizes to LSU for obscene gesture after backlash

The Troy Trojans pulled off an unbelievable upset of the LSU Tigers Saturday.

The Trojans looked like the better team for much of the night as they racked up 206 yards rushing and forced four Tigers turnovers in the 24-21 victory. It was a great win that caught the national spotlight, but one Troy receiver took things too far.

Friendly trash talk and taunting is one thing, but WR Alvin Bryant was definitely over the line with his obscene gestures to the LSU crowd. ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit noticed and called him out on Twitter following the win.

Bryant acknowledged his inappropriate actions and shared an apology through Troy Football’s Twitter account on Monday:
