It is always incredible to see sports bring people together.

The community of Las Vegas was shook with a recent active-shooter event. CNN reports that 58 people were killed and more than 500 injured during the attack Sunday evening.

It was a devastating attack and is reportedly the deadliest mass shooting in the modern history of the United States. Many people have already offered condolences and help to the Las Vegas community, and the UNLV football team will have a special tribute for its game Saturday.

UNLV will wear special helmets with a red ribbon to honor those affected by the recent shooting. Here is a look at the helmet that UNLV Athletics shared to Twitter:

Kickoff for the game is set for 10:45 pm EST on ESPN2.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the attack.
