Looking ahead to 2019: Vegas releases odds of each SEC basketball team winning the title

The 2018 National Championship Game tips off tonight, but Vegas oddsmakers are already looking ahead to 2019.
On Monday, oddsmakers revealed the odds for next year’s men’s basketball title, with Duke checking in as the favorite with 5/1 odds.
As you can see below, the Las Vegas Superbook ranked most of the top schools and listed their odds:

Kentucky has the best odds of any SEC team, but you can see every team’s odds here:
- Kentucky — 8/1
- Auburn — 30/1
- Tennessee — 40/1
- Florida — 40/1
- Vanderbilt — 60/1
- Mississippi State — 80/1
- Texas A&M — 80/1
- LSU — 80/1
- Arkansas — 100/1
- Alabama — 200/1
- Missouri — 200/1
- South Carolina — 200/1
- Georgia — 300/1
- Ole Miss — 500/1
Based on those odds, it could be another strong year for SEC basketball. It’ll be interesting to see how things play out, but if it’s anything like last year, it should be a lot of fun.
