A big name is hitting the transfer portal, but many teams may not be involved.
Louisville standout running back Isaac Brown announced Thursday morning that he is entering his name into the transfer portal. Brown has rushed for over 2,000 yards in 2 seasons with the Cardinals.
Brown shared that his portal entry will include a “do not contact” tag. It will be up to Brown which teams he speaks to, an indication he may already have a destination in mind.
“I would like to thank God for my family, teammates and Louisville fans who have been supporting me since committing 2022. The community, the fans, the staff has become a family that I could rely on. My teammates are my brothers for life, and Louisville will always be in my heart,” Brown wrote in a note posted on social media.
“After much thought and prayer with my family, l will be entering the Transfer Portal during the January 2026 cycle as a DO NOT CONTACT The time I spent as a Cardinal will be cherished by my family and I forever!
“I am thankful to be able to play this game and thankful for the opportunities that will allow me to continue to develop my craft and chase my dreams of playing in the NFL someday.
