LSU adds 4-star point guard from Georgia to 2020 recruiting class

The LSU basketball team figures to have some key positions to replace this offseason. Skylar Mays and Marlon Taylor are seniors, and other guys like Javonte Smart, Trendon Watford and Emmitt Williams may consider going pro after the season.
Thus, it’ll be important for coach Will Wade to bring in a talented recruiting class, and so far, he’s doing a good job.
Per Corey Evans of Rivals, 4-star 2020 PG Eric Gaines has committed to the Tigers:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Gaines is the No. 16 point guard in the 2020 class and the No. 8 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
LSU now has 5 players in its 2020 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 6 in the nation and No. 3 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
