Entering his second season with the Tigers, LSU has added a familiar face for defensive coordinator Dave Aranda to work with in former Wisconsin standout safety Mike Caputo.

Caputo was a three-year starter for the Badgers from 2013-2015. In 2014, Caputo was named as an All-American while playing under Aranda. His final season on campus didn’t match his junior season, however, Caputo still managed to be named All-Big Ten in 2015. In his four-year career for the Badgers, Caputo racked up 244 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and three interceptions.

The former Wisconsin standout has a bit of history against Alabama, as Caputo got a concussion tackling Derrick Henry in the 2015 season opener. He famously lined up in the Alabama offensive backfield before being forced to leave the field for the rest of the game.
