Brian Kelly’s LSU squad has added to its 2022 class with a specialist transfer.
Longsnapper Slade Roy has transferred from East Carolina to LSU.
“It’s always been the college I wanted to play football at from when I started my football career,” Roy told Geaux247. “An SEC football school that will be competing for a National Championship in years to come. What’s not to love with LSU?”
Roy entered the transfer portal on Monday. Per Geaux247, he will arrive at Baton Rouge on Jan. 15. Roy will have immediate eligibility to play in 2022.
With Roy on board, LSU’s 2022 class now has 15 players.
