The LSU Tigers have undergone a bit of turnover on their coaching staff this offseason, from the offensive coordinator position on down.
However, they are starting to fill out the staff under head coach Ed Orgeron, as they have hired a special teams coordinator.
As you can see in the tweet below, Greg McMahon has been hired to fill that role by Coach O:

In a statement released by the school, Coach O said he’s excited to have the former New Orleans Saints assistant on his staff:
“Coach McMahon brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the area of special teams to our staff,” Orgeron said. “He’s had success at the highest level of football, helping the Saints win a Super Bowl, and I know that with Greg working daily with our special teams, we will show marked improvement.”
The Tigers need some help on special teams, especially with the kicking game. It’ll be interesting to see if McMahon can help shore up that unit.
