The LSU Tigers continue to shore up their future non-conference schedule this offseason, as the school announced a 2021 date against in-state opponent McNeese State Tuesday afternoon.
This date will be in week two, following their trip to Pasadena to take on the UCLA Bruins. Ross Dellenger of The Advocate reports that the meeting will cost LSU $600,000, a common practice that will keep the money between two state-funded public institutions in this case.

Despite playing in the same state, McNeese and LSU have only met once before. In 2010, the Tigers beat the Cowboys of McNeese 32-10.
