Fans headed to Tiger Stadium for LSU‘s home opener against Louisiana Tech on Saturday will spot something different on the playing surface.

LSU announced on Saturday afternoon that it has come to terms on an “expanded partnership” with Venture Global, a liquefied natural gas exporter based in Virginia but with facilities in Louisiana. As part of the agreement, the Venture Global logo will be placed at both 25-yard lines.

Here’s a photo of how it will look, courtesy of the LSU Football X account:

“This partnership with Venture Global is a reflection of how collegiate athletics can evolve through meaningful relationships with industry leaders,” LSU deputy athletic director Clay Harris said in a statement. “At LSU, our brand is built on excellence, tradition, and impact — and we are intentional about who we align with. This alignment with Venture Global creates opportunities that benefit our student-athletes and strengthen LSU’s impact across the state and beyond.”

LSU’s announcement makes it the latest SEC program to introduce on-field ads after the NCAA approved them in 2024.

Auburn (YellaWood), Alabama (U.S. Navy), South Carolina (Blanchard CAT/Blanchard Machinery), Texas (Humann), and Oklahoma (Riverwind Casino) are among other programs in the conference that will showcase ads on their stadiums’ playing surfaces.
