Trenton Henderson is headed from the Florida panhandle down to the bayou. Brian Kelly’s staff picked up a big win on the recruiting trail Wednesday with Henderson’s commitment to LSU.

Out of Pensacola (Florida) Catholic High School, Henderson is one of the most sought-after edge rushers in his recruiting class. Listed at 6-4, 225 pounds, Henderson is rated 4-stars, the No. 11 edge rusher, No. 11 prospect in the Sunshine State and No. 82 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.

As one of the top prospects in Florida, Henderson drew national interest from coast to coast. During his recruitment, Henderson collected scholarship offers from 34 programs, including Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Michigan, Georgia, Miami, Mizzou, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, USC, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

After taking visits, Henderson narrowed things down to 3, choosing LSU over Florida and Texas.

With Henderson on board, LSU now has 12 commitments in its 2026 class, which ranks No. 11 nationally on the Composite. Tiger fans can see what makes Henderson a top talent by checking out his highlights in the Hudl video below:
