LSU will look to get its 10th win of the 2022 campaign in the Sunshine State.

The No. 17 Tigers (9-4) are heading to the Citrus Bowl to face Purdue (8-5). Both teams are looking to bounce back from losses in conference championship games. LSU fell to No. 1 Georgia 50-30 in the SEC Championship Game. No. 2 Michigan defeated the Boilermakers 43-22 in the Big Ten Championship Game.

For LSU, it’s an unfamiliar opponent in a venue that’s becoming rather familiar. The Tigers have never played Purdue before. For LSU, it will be the third postseason trip to Orlando since 2016. Brian Kelly’s squad will return to Camping World Stadium to open the 2023 season against Florida State.

The Citrus Bowl is set for Jan. 2 at 1 p.m. ET, airing on ABC.
