Moffitt, a Baton Rouge native, has decided to stay close to home and attend LSU under new head coach Ed Orgeron.

He had taken a visit to TCU earlier this month, but will be sticking with the Tigers.

According to 247Sports, Moffitt is the No. 39 strong-side defensive end in the class of 2017 and the No. 35 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
