LSU DB Donte Jackson fires back at Florida DB Quincy Wilson

On Tuesday evening, Florida DB Quincy Wilson trash talked LSU QB Danny Etling, a Purdue transfer who Wilson doesn’t think is as good as Florida’s transfer from Purdue — QB Austin Appleby.
“(Appleby) beat him out at Purdue. That’s all we need to know,” Wilson said in regards to Etling.
However, LSU CB Donte Jackson isn’t very impressed with Appleby and the Florida quarterbacks, either, and made that opinion known later on Tuesday:
“They’re all right,” Jackson said, according to Glenn Guilbeau of The Advertiser. “I’m not going to give them any praise.”
Both LSU and Florida have outstanding secondaries full of NFL talent, so Saturday’s game figures to be rough for both quarterbacks.
Now both former Boilermakers have a little extra motivation heading into the game, which can be seen at noon Eastern time on ESPN.
