Tulane is currently ranked No. 20 in the College Football Playoff rankings with a 10-2 record. The Green Wave will take on No. 24 North Texas in the American title game on Friday (8 p.m. ET/ABC).
LSU’s defense this season is allowing 18.3 points under Baker, which ranks 15th nationally. This comes despite LSU getting rid of head coach Brian Kelly mid-season.
Baker was previously the defensive coordinator at Missouri, where he helped the Tigers to an 11-win season in 2023.
