LSU defensive coordinator Kevin Steele may be staying put after all.
A source told The Advocate that the school believes it’s convinced Steele to stay and not take the same position at Auburn. Earlier today, ESPN’s Chris Low had reported that Steele was leaving for Auburn, barring a late snag, but it looks like that snag has come to fruition.
Barring a late snag, it looks like LSU defensive coordinator Kevin Steele is headed to Auburn for the same position.

FootballScoop.com had reported that the school was working to keep Steele, and it looks like it may have been successful in doing so.
Steele just completed his first season as the defensive coordinator at LSU, where he was trying to fill the shoes of legendary defensive coordinator John Chavis.
