You hate to see a player get injured in a bowl game, especially in the final minutes.

Multiple sources told The Advocate that LSU junior defensive tackle Christian LaCouture suffered a fractured left forearm late in the Tigers’ dominating 56-27 win over Texas Tech on Tuesday night in the Texas Bowl.

LaCouture’s injury came in the final minutes, and his arm was in a sling on Wednesday.

LaCouture has started at tackle over the last two seasons in Baton Rouge, and he’s one of at least six Tigers to request an evaluation grade from the NFL College Advisory Committee, according to The Advocate.

The NFL combine is set for Feb. 23-29.
