LSU has been dropped from the College Football Playoff committee rankings following a disheartening shutout loss to Arkansas. The committee left out the Tigers, ranked No. 20 a week ago, for the first time in four editions of the rankings.

The Tigers get a week off to recover from the 17-0 loss, their second defeat in a row. They will travel to take on Texas A&M at Kyle Field on Thanksgiving, Nov. 27. The Aggies also fell out of the rankings following a 34-27 home loss to Missouri. A&M was ranked 24th last week, the first time they’d appeared in the rankings.

LSU was also unranked in both the Amway Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25.
