LSU DT Davon Godchaux suspended following Monday’s arrest

LSU DT Davon Godchaux was suspended indefinitely on Monday afternoon following his arrest for domestic battery, child endangerment and false imprisonment.
In one of his first moves as interim coach, Ed Orgeron made the decision to suspend the junior defender.
According to The Advocate, Godchaux and the mother of his 10-month-old child fought over suspected infidelity in the relationship and Godchaux allegedly tried to keep her from leaving his apartment.
The victim was not arrested but issued a misdemeanor summons following the incident due to conflicting stories about what actually happened.
