LSU is set to host rival Florida in Death Valley on Saturday night, but the Tigers could be without a very important offensive player vs. the Gators.
While Jayden Daniels, Malik Nabers and the LSU passing game gets a ton of hype, which is all well-deserved, the Tigers’ running game has been solid in 2023, too.
But on Saturday night, leading RB Logan Diggs is expected to miss the game, per Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports:
The current expectation is that LSU running back Logan Diggs will miss the Tigers’ game against Florida today, sources tell @on3sports.

Diggs has 635 rushing yards this season and has found the end zone 6 times. He has been a solid lead back for the Tigers since transferring from Notre Dame.
LSU is coming off a loss at Alabama last week and now has 3 losses on the season. Without Diggs, the rest of the offense will need to be sharp to get back on track against Florida.
LSU-Florida kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday night and can be seen on the SEC Network.
