LSU basketball landed a commitment from fast-rising 3-star small forward Devon Pryor Tuesday afternoon. The addition marks their first in the Class of 2024, stemming from Pryor’s official visit to Baton Rouge on Monday.

Pryor, who stands at 6-7, 180 pounds, has collected 5 high-level offers in the past few weeks alone, implying that LSU is ahead of the curve on identifying Pryor’s skillset. He’s a standout athlete and stood out enough for McMahon to extend the offer in early May.

Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech and Colorado have all offered Pryor in the past month. Texas A&M was first to the party and did so in September of 2022. According to 247Sports, those are his only offers as of now.

Pryor hails from Houston, Texas and is rated as the No. 20 prospect out of the Lone Star State according to 247Sports.
