LSU received tremendous news on the recruiting front Saturday after receiving a verbal commitment from five-star defensive tackle Ed Alexander (Hammond, La.) following the Tigers’ spring game.
Florida State and USC were reportedly Alexander’s other finalists:

Alexander is LSU’s ninth commit in the 2016 class, a group currently ranked inside the Top 10 nationally according to 247Sports’ Composite.
