The LSU Tigers needed some good news after that thumping they took against Auburn 48-11 Saturday.
That good news came in the form of in-state wide receiver Jake Bech. The 3-star pass-catcher committed to LSU Sunday night, and he is ranked as the nation’s No. 72 overall wide receiver and the state’s No. 14 overall prospect for the class of 2021, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound receiver is from Lafayette, La., and he recently deceommitted from Vanderbilt following the offer from LSU. His current high school teammate Walker Howard is already committed to the Tigers, and that certainly helped the in-state Tigers.

Bech became LSU’s 21st commitment in the class of 2021, including the 4th receiver commitment.
