“The best in the Boot stay in the Boot,” Anding said in his announcement. The corner chose the Tigers over Texas, Arkansas, Miami, and TCU, among others. Anding officially received an offer from the Tigers back in June and will indeed stay home to help the Tigers compete in 2025 onward.
Anding stands at 6-foot, and weighs in at 170 pounds. The corner also stars for the Ruston High School basketball and track and field teams. In 2023, as a junior, Anding was a key defensive playmaker for his team that ended up winning the Louisiana Division I Non-Select state championship.
The Tigers now have 25 hard commits for the 2025 class. The 247Sports Composite ranking currently gives the Tigers the No. 3 class in the nation for 2025. Five stars Bryce Underwood, DJ Pickett, and Derek Meadows currently headline the class for the Tigers.
