LSU lands commitment from talented in-state OL Cameron Wire

LSU and Ed Orgeron landed their 17th commitment for the class of 2018 Wednesday night.
Three-star prospect Cameron Wire (Gonzales, LA) became the first OT commitment for the recruiting class, and he’s rated the nation’s No. 40 OT and the state’s No. 23 player for the class of 2018, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
The 6-foot-6, 271-pound Wire now joins 4-star OG Chasen Hines and 3-star OC Cole Smith as the Tigers’ OL commits for the class.
