LSU LB signee selected for all-star game in Hawaii

LSU signee Marcel Brooks has a bright future ahead of him in Baton Rouge.

In Saturday’s All-American Bowl high school all-star game in Houston, Brooks impressed with seven tackles. The Flower Mound, Texas product has one more high school football game to take part in before starting his Tigers career.

The Polynesian Bowl, billed as “a premier all-star football game featuring the world’s elite high school players of Polynesian heritage and other ancestries” announced Brooks’ participation Sunday. The game is set for Jan. 19.

Brooks is rated the No. 3 outside linebacker, No. 6 Texas product and No. 44 prospect overall in the 2019 recruiting class. He signed with LSU in December.
