Coach Ed Orgeron and the LSU Tigers are coming to grips with the fact that Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin will likely be taking a head coaching position and not coming to Baton Rouge.
With that mindset, the Tigers are looking into other potential offensive coordinators, including recently fired Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich:

Sterlin Gilbert is currently the offensive coordinator at Texas and Matt Canada is the Pitt Panthers’ offensive coordinator.
Of course, if the rumored Lane Kiffin-to-Houston deal falls through, the Tigers will be there, ready to pounce on their No. 1 choice.
