In what has been a highly tumultuous season on and off the field, LSU is losing yet another player.

Brody Miller of The Athletic reported Wednesday that sophomore linebacker Navonteque Strong had entered his name in the NCAA’s transfer portal.

Strong starred for 2 seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and was a top-20 national JUCO prospect according to the 247Sports composite.

The 6-2, 230-pounder originally committed to Mississippi State before flipping to the Tigers.

Strong, a native of Forest, Mississippi, played in all 8 of the Tigers’ games this season, recording 17 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a sack.

LSU is off this week but returns to action on November 6 at Alabama.
