LSU makes huge addition to 2019 class, picking up 5-star RB John Emery over Georgia, Alabama

5-star 2019 RB John Emery visited Tennessee over the weekend, but apparently he has decided to continue his career elsewhere.
On Tuesday, the No. 2 overall running back in the 2019 class announced that he’d be staying home, committing to the LSU Tigers.
As you can see below, Emery announced his decision on Tuesday night via Twitter — a huge pickup for coach Ed Orgeron and the Tigers:

According to the 247Sports composite, Emery is the No. 2 running back in the class of 2019 and the No. 3 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
The Tigers now have 20 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 9 in the country and No. 4 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
