LSU didn’t re-enter the polls after a bye week, but the Tigers came pretty close to getting back into the top 25.

LSU (7-4, 3-4) was the first team out of the Amway Coaches Poll, receiving 43 points worth of votes. LSU also received votes in the AP poll. The Tigers will be able to make their case to be included in the pre-bowl selection polls this week, when they travel to College Station to take on Texas A&M (7-4, 3-4) on Thanksgiving, Nov. 27.

This marked the fourth week this season the Tigers have not been included in the top 25 of the two major polls. Prior to this season, the last time LSU was unranked was 2008.
