LSU is now in the mix for the top running back in the Class of 2018.
On Friday, 247Sports national analyst Ryan Bartow confirmed that LSU verbally offered five-star running back Zamir White, also the No. 2 overall prospect in the class.
The 6-foot-1, 202-pounder from Laurinburg, N.C., has also received offers from SEC schools Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee as well as other top programs.
