LSU picked up commitment No. 18 for its 2021 recruiting class on Sunday. Olive Branch (Mississippi) tight end Jalen Shead announced his verbal pledge to the Tigers via his social media accounts.
Listed at 6-4, 240 pounds, Shead is rated 3-stars, the No. 13 recruit in Mississippi, No. 50 tight end and No. 943 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite.
Shead has 20 scholarship offers at this time. Earlier this month, he named an all-SEC West final 3 of LSU, Alabama and Ole Miss.
