Joe Burrow has had some great games during his time at LSU, but Saturday was one of his most impressive performances yet.

Playing against top SEC rival Alabama, Burrow led the Tigers to a 46-41 victory in one of the biggest regular-season matchups in college football this season. He went 31-for-39 for 393 yards and three touchdowns, while also recording a season-high 64 rushing yards on 14 carries.

That performance earned Burrow the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week Award. It’s the second time this season that Burrow earned the honor, as he also won it in Week 2 after his big game against Texas.

Burrow has been a key reason for LSU’s success this season. He’s passed for 3,198 yards, 33 touchdowns and only four interceptions while helping the Tigers open the year with nine consecutive wins. LSU is ranked No. 1 in the AP Top 25 poll, and it could move into the top spot in this week’s College Football Playoff rankings.

With three games remaining in the regular season, Burrow should add to his impressive totals while likely leading LSU to the SEC Championship Game. And it wouldn’t be surprising to see him lead the Tigers to the conference title and a berth in the College Football Playoff.

Burrow and the Tigers will be back in action on Saturday, when they travel to take on Ole Miss at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
