There is no denying that the LSU Tigers offense is as good as there is in college football. The unit is led by quarterback Jayden Daniels, who has the LSU Tigers offense humming. He has thrown for 1,969 yards, 19 touchdowns and 2 interceptions as the Tigers are currently sitting at 5-2.

Daniels became the first SEC quarterback to throw 3 passing touchdowns and rush for 50 yards in 3 consecutive games since 2012. It isn’t just Daniels who is putting up big numbers, as the offense as a whole is doing things never seen at LSU.

On Saturday, LSU had 563 yards of total offense. By doing that, this is the 6th consecutive game that the Tigers have had at least 500 yards offense. Before Saturday night, that had never been done in school history.

The defense is slowly starting to catch up and is playing better football as of late as well. However, if the Tigers are going to get back to the SEC championship game, the offense may need to continue to put up record-breaking numbers.

LSU will look to add a 7th consecutive game of 500+ yards of total offense as the Tigers host Army next weekend.
