The LSU Tigers have 2 more regular season games in the 2024 season. The team will face off against Vanderbilt in Week 13 before finishing things up with a game against Oklahoma.

For the Vanderbilt game, the Tigers will don a special alternate uniform combo that fans aren’t used to seeing. Earlier this week, we learned that the team would be wearing Gold jerseys. However, on Wednesday, the team revealed the entire uniform, which features white helmets, gold jerseys, and white pants.

This uniform is an updated version of what the team wore in 1997. Not counting throwbacks, Week 13 will be the first time wearing gold jerseys for the team since 1998. The Tigers typically wear white jerseys for home games, so this will be a notable change for Week 13.

The team is surely hoping that the new jerseys inspire better play. The Tigers have lost 3 games in a row after starting out with a 6-1 record. Losses to Texas A&M, Alabama, and Florida have killed College Football Playoff aspirations for the team, but ending on a positive note is key.

Entering this matchup, the Commodores and Tigers have identical records overall and in conference play. The last time the Commodores played, they suffered a 28-7 loss at the hands of the South Carolina Gamecocks. Overall, these SEC rivals have played 32 times with the Tigers winning 24 of these contests.

This game will kick off from Tiger Stadium on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. ET.
