LSU won the last time it played in Tuscaloosa in 2019. This time around, things are different, as the Tigers are nowhere near the juggernaut they were 2 years ago.

But the thing they do have going for him this time around is that they have nothing to lose. At 4-4 and with coach Ed Orgeron gone after the year, they’re opening the trick play book early on Saturday night against No. 2 Alabama.

As you can see below, facing an early 4th down, LSU ran an incredible fake punt, ending in a jump pass to convert:

Here’s another angle of the play:

That sparked the Tigers, as they marched down the field and scored a touchdown, taking an early 7-0 lead over the Crimson Tide.

We’ll see what else the Tigers have in store for the Tide on Saturday night, but Alabama will need to be ready for anything!
