LSU is reportedly set to see one of its 2025 recruits depart Baton Rouge after a single season with the Tigers.
Tyler Miller, ranked as a top 25 offensive tackle in the class of 2025 by 247Sports’ Composite, will enter the transfer portal. That’s according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Miller will retain all four years of eligibility.
Miller, from Laurel, Mississippi, had 15 offers in high school, with a number of them coming from the SEC. He committed to LSU, though, in March 2024, remaining pledged and eventually signing an NLI even after taking an official visit to Mississippi State.
The 2025 season was obviously a disappointing one for the Tigers as Brian Kelly was let go eight games into his fourth season. That ushered in the Lane Kiffin era, and it looks as if Miller won’t be a part of it.
That now makes 31 players who have entered the portal for LSU this transfer cycle. So far, though, the Tigers have picked up 18 players.
One player that’s in the portal right now but could be thinking over a return to Death Valley is Caden Durham, the Tigers’ leading rusher over the past two seasons. Durham was reportedly scheduled to meet with the program on Saturday.
