LSU offensive tackle Tyree Adams has decided to enter the transfer portal, according to a report.
Adams was LSU’s starting left tackle in 2025. The report comes from On3’s Hayes Fawcett:
Adams played 462 snaps at left tackle for the Tigers this season, per Pro Football Focus. Adams earned an overall grade of 56.4 from PFF, making him LSU’s 5th highest-graded offensive lineman for the 2025 season (min. 300 snaps).
Lane Kiffin and his staff will now have to evaluate if they have an internal replacement for Adams at left tackle in 2026 or if they will have to look for a new tackle in the transfer portal.
One potential internal option does exist in Carius Curne, who had a strong true freshman season for the Tigers and played over 300 snaps at tackle this fall. Curne is listed at 6-foot-5 and was a top-100 recruit in the class of 2025.
LSU is scheduled to play Houston in the Texas bowl on Saturday evening. The Tigers are narrow underdogs, according to most of the best sports betting apps.
The NCAA transfer portal will officially open on Jan. 2.
