If the media reports circling LSU coach Les Miles aren’t obvious enough (“Tigers say boosters have no issue paying $15 million to buy out coach”), there’s another surefire sign of his future in Baton Rouge.

His assistant coaches quickly are trying to line up other jobs.

First, defensive line coach Ed Orgeron stumped for the open Syracuse job.

Now running backs coach Frank Wilson, arguably the most successful assistant on Miles’ staff this year, is a candidate at Tulane.

The Green Wave are expected to fired coach Curtis Johnson after Friday’s game against Tulsa, Fox Sports reported. Among those connected to the job opening are Wilson, former New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan (and brother of Rex Ryan), and Penn State defensive coordinator Bob Shoop.

Wilson is a native of New Orleans and is well-connected with Louisiana prep schools, coaches and talent.

So, to recap, Miles could be without a job after the 2015 season, while a few of his assistants could land FBS head coaching positions.
