LSU lost a big part of its 2025 recruiting class on Friday morning.
The Tigers suffered a decommitment from 5-star receiver Dakorien Moore. He had been committed to the Tigers since August of 2023, but will evidently be taking his talents elsewhere.

Moore also said he will not be considering any new offers from other programs. Multiple 247Sports analysts have put in crystal ball projections for Moore to flip to Texas this week. Moore is from Duncanville, Texas, which is near the Dallas area.
Moore is a major loss for LSU in this recruiting class. He’s the No. 3 overall player and the No. 1 wide receiver for the 2025 cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Even with Moore’s departure, LSU still has an elite recruiting class for the 2025 cycle. The class sits at No. 6 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Quarterback Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 player in the country, headlines a class that figures to be amongst the SEC’s best in 2025.
Overall, LSU still has 11 commitments in the class of 2025. Ten of those commits are 4-or-5-star prospects, per 247Sports Composite rankings. The class is expected to continue to grow over the next few months.
