LSU went down 7-0 against Clemson early in the first quarter, and the offense was struggling to get going.
However, later on in the opening period, Heisman-winning QB Joe Burrow provided some of his trademark heroics, hitting WR Ja’Marr Chase on a huge touchdown play.
The 52-yard touchdown also means Chase is now the SEC receiver with the most touchdowns in a single season, as this was his 19th:

That touchdown broke the record of 18 held by LSU teammate Justin Jefferson and former Florida WR Reidel Anthony.
How many more touchdowns will LSU’s receivers account for? They’ll probably need a couple more if the Tigers are going to beat Clemson.
