Raydarious Jones will not be part of Brian Kelly’s first year at LSU.
The 6-foot-2, 170 cornerback will be suspended for the 2022 season due to academic issues. According to the official LSU football website Jones was described as a “playmaking cornerback that has emerged as a player will see snaps for the Tigers”.

Jones has appeared in 16 games with the Tigers and has 9 tackles with 0.5 tackles for loss and a pass defended.
He was a composite 4-star prospect out of Horn Lake, Mississippi. Jones played quarterback for Horn Lake HS and led the program to a 15-0 season and a Class 6A state championship in 2018. In his recruitment Jones chose LSU over Ole Miss in a signing-day decision.
