Luther Burden III is having an incredible sophomore season for the upstart Missouri Tigers, who entered Saturday’s home game against South Carolina having already clinched bowl eligibility at 6-1.

Burden wasted no time getting things going once again, sneaking behind the South Carolina defense to haul in an impressive 43-yard touchdown from QB Brady Cook.

It’s plays like these that have Burden firmly in the discussion for the Biletnikoff Award this season:

The Tigers will need more from Burden as they deal with a feisty Gamecocks squad on Saturday afternoon at Faurot Field.

That Burden touchdown gave Mizzou a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter. Cody Schrader ran the ball into the end zone at the end of the quarter to send the Tigers to the second leading 14-0. Can Burden post another massive 100+-yard performance against South Carolina?
