Luther Burden III is having a Biletnikoff Award-worthy season and he now has another highlight to add to his reel.
At Georgia on Saturday, the Bulldogs scored first, kicking a field goal to take a 3-0 lead on the game’s opening possession. When Mizzou got the ball, the Tigers methodically marched down the field before QB Brady Cook decided to open things up a bit.
Who did Cook target on his first deep shot of the game? Burden, of course. And Burden made that look like a great decision, catching this pass in the end zone to put Mizzou ahead 7-3:

Burden is a matchup nightmare for any opposing defense, even one as great as Georgia’s. But it’s still early in this SEC East showdown. The Tigers will need to see a few more big plays from Burden moving forward if they’re going to pull off the upset.
Can OC Kirby Moore and head coach Eli Drinkwitz draw up some more great plays? Tune in to CBS to find out!
