Luther Burden made his thoughts clear on what he felt was a perceived snub against Missouri, following the No. 6 Tigers’ 27-21 win against Boston College that was shown on the SEC Network.

“To me it’s disrespect to not have us on the big stage with the big TV cameras,” Burden said. “I took that personal and I’m pretty sure everybody else in that locker room took it personal.”

To be fair, the SEC Network is widely available nationally. Taking a look at the rest of the early window schedule, though, shows that ABC’s featured game was LSU at South Carolina, while ESPN carried Florida State vs. Memphis and ESPN2 screened Oklahoma State vs. Tulsa.

Regardless of all of that, Burden, who finished with 6 catches for 111 yards and a touchdown, wasn’t happy with what he saw as a slight against the Tigers, despite the fact that they were a New Year’s 6 team a season ago and ranked No. 11 in the preseason poll.

“We ain’t going nowhere. We’re here to stay,” he said.

Missouri hosts Vanderbilt in Week 4, with kickoff time and network set to be announced.
