Mac Jones didn’t let the refs stop him from hitting “The Griddy” during the Pro Bowl.
Late in Sunday’s game, Jones broke off for a run. The refs blew their whistles to call Jones down by contact (2-hand touch contact for the Pro Bowl) in his own territory, but the former Alabama quarterback kept running. He crossed the goal-line, showing off his “Griddy” celebration, pretending his 72-yard run counted as a touchdown.

Jones’ AFC squad won by a final score of 41-35. The New England Patriots rookie quarterback was 12-of-16 passing for 112 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Considering the game was widely criticized for players’ lack of effort, perhaps they should have let Jones’ long TD run count.
